It's strange to think that at the start of 2026, we had zero Final Fantasy VII Remake games on Switch 2, and now we are mere months away from the third — which launches simultaneously across all platforms on 8th April 2027. Revelation , the third and possibly most-anticipated of the trilogy, will cap off the iconic RPG story, and based on everything we've seen so far from its many, many trailers, it looks like it'll go out with quite a bang. Neo Geo's Necro Pop Gets Spooky Steam Demo And 2027 Release Date

Nalua Studio has released a Steam demo of its adorably creepy Neo Geo release , Necro Pop , which is currently in development for PlayStation, PC, Xbox, and Switch, as well as original Neo Geo AES and MVS hardware. Described as an "arcadevania", Necro Pop follows the exploits of ghost gal Poppi, who is temporarily returned to corporeal form in order to save her phantom friends from a sinister force known as "The Gloam". As she traverses her native land of Ghostreach, Poppi will gain access to an array of spells, weaponry, and powers, giving her access to previously out-of-reach areas in true Metroidvania fashion. Sunsoft's Second Retro Game Collection Includes Original 'Kusoge' Ikki And Obscure RPG Maharaja
Feelin' Ikki. Veteran developer Sunsoft has announced a second compilation of the studio's earliest releases. The wonderfully titled Sunsoft Is Back! Retro Game Selection 2 launches this December and includes four vintage titles pulled from the mid-1980s. First on deck is Super Arabian , a single-screen platformer released for the Famicom in 1983. Much like its coin-op counterpart, Super Arabian sees a young hero on a quest to rescue a fair princess from tyranny's clutches. The player must navigate a series of vertical mazes, gathering magic jars in order to progress to the next stage. Rockstar Games have issued a statement making clear they're sticking to their guns, as the final hearing in the legal battle between them and a group of former staff they fired last year begins. The hearing's set to run from today, September 10th, until at least October 15th. Kohachi Studio - the company set up by ex-SNK and Irem developers back in 2023 — has announced it is working on another project, in addition to the upcoming run 'n gunner Black Finger Jet . According to the announcement that has been picked up by Japanese publications like gamespark.jp , this new game will be called Yokai Buster: Navinosuke and is a recreation of a Game Boy Advance title that was in development 20 years ago by members of the studio, but was never officially released.
