Review: Evercade Wireless Controller - The Perfect Interface For The Next Era Of Evercade
Cut the cable. The impending arrival of the Evercade Nexus means that Blaze's retro-focused family of systems finally has dual analogue control built-in – but, as long-standing fans will tell you, that's already been possible on the Evercade VS , VS-R and Alpha consoles. Support for third-party dual analogue controllers has been in beta for some time now, and is naturally limited to titles that can make use of such controls. The Nexus is launching alongside the Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack , which contains two games that support dual analogue input – so it's understandable that many existing Evercade fans will be looking for a suitable pad if they haven't done so already. The Duskbloods Network Test Session Closed After Disastrous Server Issues
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience". FromSoftware has closed the first network test session for The Duskbloods before it's even begun. Scheduled to kick off at 11am BST, all users (as far as we can tell) were stuck at the main menu for the duration, consistently failing to log into the game's servers. While FromSoftware confirmed it was aware of the issue and endeavoured to resolve it, this unfortunately didn't happen in time. Among Shadows is a Nightreign-style dark fantasy RPG with a touch of Among Us that makes me think wistfully of Dark Souls at its most treacherous
Among Shadows is the kind of videogame genre arithmetic that often proves less than the sum of its parts, but I'm cautiously enthused by its talk of disease, betrayal and Elden Ring: Nightreign -flavoured swordwizarding. The gist: this is a fantasy action-RPG with an Among Us -style social deduction element. You are a member of the Order of the Secret Fire, sent into a supernaturally blighted region to track down sources of corruption, while looting gear and levelling yourself up. Read more
