New No Man's Sky The Swarm update threatens the universe with a murderous, robotic hive - not the bees!

No Manโ€™s Sky The Swarm splits players into three factions, with the most proficient hive-busters etching their names in the history books.

No Man's Sky goes to war as Swarm update brings universe-ending threat, hundred-ship space battles, and a splash ofโ€ฆ Splatoon?

Even if you're not particularly up on your No Man's Sky lore, you'll likely have at least heard mention of the World of Glass, a kind of archival afterlife linked to the exploratory sci-fi game's ill-fated simulation. And in its latest update, Swarm, something fearsome is breaking through from that other realm - so it's time to band together and fight back. Read more

Helldivers 2-esque war against a giant evil robo-eye beckons in No Man's Sky's The Swarm update, invading the galaxy right now

It's the Death Star! Well, sort of. It's a big robo-eye invading the galaxy with a swarm of killer drones, as No Man's Sky goes a bit Helldivers 2 -ish in its latest update. Dubbed The Swarm, it'll see folks filed away from their not quite Pokemon battles to join three factions who'll need to work together in ship battles to fend off a big Robo-eye with a space station-scorching laser. Mina the Hollower is an 8-bit world of complex wonder

My favourite moment in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening happens in a library. You're wandering between the stacks, trying to learn more about this strange island you've washed up on, when you spy a book that's hidden up high, stuck at the top of a book shelf, and well out of range of your grasping hands. Square Enix has revealed the debut trailer for DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition (holy moly, these Switch 2 titles really are something, huh), launching on 24 th September 2026 . Jackbox Games' Upcoming Release Is Basically An Aussie 'Thank Goodness You're Here'

Long arm on the lawn. Jackbox Games has announced My Arms Are Longer Now for the Switch 1 & 2, developed by Melbourne-based studio Toot Games. Scheduled to release on PC this year, a console launch is currently planned to follow in 2027. Blending absurd comedy with puzzle solving and stealth mechanics, it looks like a cross between the excellent Thank Goodness You're Here and Untitled Goose Game . After 10 years of work, modders have remade classic RPG Ultima Underworld in Unity with 3D models, new sound effects, and controller support

Eyes up, dungeon delvers! Or down, rather. Some bright spark has remade Looking Glass classic Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss in the Unity engine with new 3D models and sound effects, plus controller support. Ultima Underworld, often cited as the original first-person 3D RPG! Ultima Underworld, also considered a primordial specimen of the immersive sim! Ultima Underworld, which has influenced everything from Bioshock to Tomb Raider! Ultima Underworld, which... some appropriately rousing fourth thing! The Unity revival is an unofficial project, titled Unity Underground. I guess we must brace for the potential wrath of license holders EA, but it does require ownership of the old game files to work, so surely it's on the level? Anyway, here's the first ten minutes in video form. Read more
