I've been a fan of dogfighting games since playing Elite with my dad on his old Acorn computer. He'd do the flying and I'd fire the weapons. Maybe that division of labour is to blame for my biggest weakness as a pilot: knowing when to pull out of a strafe. Once I've my gunsights on an enemy I'll continue flying at them with my guns firing until either they explode or I do. In roguelite dogfighter Wind Runners , that cavalier approach is proving my downfall over and over. The Wind Runners demo popped up on Steam over the weekend and I've been trying to complete a single run of its bullet hell dogfighting since then. Read more

Prepare for a miniature-scale adventure. Last month, Maximum Entertainment released its open-world survival game Smalland: Survive the Wilds on the Switch 2. Now, in an update, it's unveiled its next chapter in the "beloved miniature-scale" franchise with the announcement of Smalland 2: Lost Realms . The Switch 2 version will launch after other versions of the game and is currently planned for a 2027 release - so there's still time to play through the original release. More Mario Kart World Tracks Race Onto Nintendo Music Today
You can now listen to Mario Galaxy Free Roam songs. Last week, Nintendo Music received a major update adding not only web browser support but also the tracks of Mario Kart World . This soundtrack came loaded with 130 tracks and Nintendo mentioned at the time how the "Free Roam" tracks were planned to be added. This week's update has now added 18 tracks from this mode.
