Kingdom Hearts 4 releasing in late 2027, according to a trailer in which Donald Duck and Goofy go to hell, miss a skeletal fiesta and rock up as creepy force ghosts
I'll be honest, having just watched the latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 , I'm less confident I know what's going on in the game. Protagonist Sora's in a realm visually inspired by Mexican Día de Muertos celebrations, while Donald Duck and Goofy ship of the Greek underworld, then end up as force ghosts before rocking up in the Mexican realm without Sora. At least the game's freshly announced release window is less confusing to non-hearts heads. It's due out in late 2027. Read more

Don't sleep on Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave mouse controls - believe it or not, it's become my favourite way to play
Earlier this year, Pokopia convinced me that the Switch 2's gimmicky mouse controls were a worthwhile addition to the console, after all. Since then, I've been trying out other games with the mouse as my primary method of control. My favourites, before I picked up Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, were Nobunaga's Ambition: Awakening and Balatro. There's just something more satisfying about clicking to select units, or dragging and dropping cards, than there is using the D-pad. Read more

Video: Digital Foundry Breaks Down Oblivion's "Frustrating Performance" On Switch 2
Hitches galore. Digital Foundry has posted its tech review for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on the Switch 2, detailing how Bethesda and Virtuos' work holds up on Nintendo's console a little over a year after its initial release. In a nutshell, Oblivion looks pretty good on the Switch 2, delivering most of the upgrades seen on other platforms. The problem, however, lies with the performance. Oblivion still struggles on the likes of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with frame rate hitches and crashes, and this is very much present on Switch 2 – in fact, DF says that its issues are exacerbated by the console's reduced horsepower. Yeesh. Read the full article on nintendolife.com
