Eight years ago the idea of The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel had me captivated, but can Bethesda recapture the magic?

Eight years ago, I sat at my desk enthralled. Bethesda had just released the first trailer for The Elder Scrolls 6 , a then mysteriously nameless, locationless sequel to one of the biggest games of all time, and I reckoned I'd just found the secrets to both. 'PlayStation: The First 30 Years' Is a Lush Visual History Releasing at a Volatile Time for the Console's Legacy

Retrospective available as a Physical Book. It's a helluva month for PlayStation to release a tome celebrating its 30-year legacy. And, like it or not, it has been an undeniable and indelible three decades for the first-time console maker. Sony stepped into the market in 1996 and not only took on the veterans at their own game, but beat them. Soundly. PlayStation redefined the entire industry. It brought gaming to the biggest audience it had ever had to that point. It took gaming mainstream, made it "cool" for celebrities to endorse what had then been tediously dubbed a "nerd" pastime, and, from the PS1's launch onwards, PlayStation continued to grow as a globally recognised brand, synonymous with gaming and often considered the flagship platform for all of the industry's biggest releases. "Worth Your Time" - Digital Foundry Delivers Its Tech Review For Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

Another Switch 2 stunner. Reviews for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time are live, and that includes a tech-focused assessment from John Linneman over at Digital Foundry. Naturally, Linneman heaps praise upon Nintendo's remake, with really only a couple of minor nitpicks. To start, resolution ranges from 1080p up to 1440p when docked and from 720p to 1080p during handheld mode. It's noted that handheld mode does implement some tweaks such as more aggressive level-of-detail distances and texture downgrades, but it's overall a very crisp, handsome game. "I realised I might only have time to make one more game, so I wanted to try something new" – Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada on starting VS Studio
