Sega is celebrating with a free Sonic Adventure 2 gift. Sega shadow-dropped Sonic Frontiers - Definitive Edition on the Switch 2 in June as part of the blue blur's ongoing 35th anniversary celebrations. Now, in an update, it's confirmed Sonic Frontiers has officially surpassed five million sales since originally launching on Switch and other platforms in 2022. Pokémon Pokopia Sales Surpass Five Million Units Globally In "Just Over Four Months"
The Switch 2 exclusive got its first DLC update last week. Following the latest financial update last week , Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have now officially announced Pokémon Pokopia has sold more than five million units globally in "just over four months". According to the official press release, this includes all of the "physical and digital versions". Pokémon Pokopia was made available in-store as a Game-Key Card (requiring a download) and digitally via the eShop, and launched for the Switch 2 on 5th March 2026 . Five years after acquiring Oxenfree developer Night School Studio, Netflix are shutting them down
In 2021, in their bid to get more of a hold on the games industry after dominating film and television streaming, Netflix acquired Oxenfree and Afterparty developer Night School Studio, the first developer they had ever acquired. Now, five years later, the streaming giant is shuttering Night School Studio, as well as Moonloot, another developer they owned that was yet to put out a game. This comes six weeks after the release of Night School's latest game, the Netflix exclusive Unhinged. Read more
