Sam Neill Will Reportedly Appear Posthumously In The Legend Of Zelda
Acclaimed actor passed away in July this year. Deadline has reported that the late Sam Neill will appear in The Legend of Zelda movie, having filmed his required scenes prior to his passing on 13th July 2026. It's likely to be one of his final film roles, if not the last one entirely. Sam Neill has garnered significant critical acclaim over the years for his appearances in films such as Possession , In the Mouth of Madness , Event Horizon , and of course, Jurassic Park . The upcoming movie adaptation The Legend of Zelda is less than a year away from its release on 30th April 2027 , but – officially , at least – we still know very little about the project. According to a post from Kyle Buchanan from The New York Times (thanks, Nintendo Everything ), however, we may now know who is playing the role of the Evil King Ganondorf. According to Buchanan, the role will be filled by Australian actor Uli Latukefu, who is perhaps best known for his role in the TV show Young Rock .
