Rockstar had a mole in the union worker Discord server "for over two and a half years", GTA 6 company reveals during legal battle
Back in October 2025, GTA 6 developers Rockstar fired a group of 34, mostly UK-based employees on a charge of "gross misconduct", alleging that they had risked the leaking of confidential information while posting on a Discord server set up by union organisers. The ousted UK workers and their representatives have since taken Rockstar to court, accusing the company of getting rid of them to stop their union gaining enough members to win official recognition under UK law. This week, both parties filed opening submissions at an employment tribunal in Glasgow , which Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive have emailed to RPS and Game Developer , among others. Taken together, the filings amount to over 100 pages of claims and counterclaims, with thousands of pages of evidence to be discussed in the coming weeks. Amongst other things, the docs give us more sense of events leading up to the dismissals, including the revelation that Rockstar had a mole or "whistleblower" passing them information on the people using the Discord server. Earlier this week, Hideo Kojima-helmed action espionage game Physint switched publishers from PlayStation to Xbox , a leap across the console divide which might make it more likely to get a PC port. At the time, Kojima claimed PlayStation had tried to can the game, while the console makers tried to paint the divorce as an amicable split. Now, a report's shed more light on why Sony decided to ditch Physint . Read more

Review: TrimUI Brick Pro - Same Power In A Larger Frame (And Dual Analogue, Too)
'Pro' means 'pronounced increase in size', it seems. If you cast your mind back to when I reviewed the TrimUI Brick back in 2024, you'll recall that I was quite taken with the Game Boy-style emulation handheld. Sure, it was perhaps a little too dinky for some people, and the lack of analogue input meant its ability to emulate N64 and Dreamcast games was slightly (but not entirely) pointless – but for the low price, it was a well-built, capable little handheld. TrimUI is back with a revised version of the Brick concept, but before you get too excited, the 'Pro' at the end of its name is rather misleading. In a world where we've become accustomed to the 'Pro' designation meaning more power, this particular hardware refresh is sporting the exact same chipset as its predecessor, the Allwinner A133 Plus. Wardogs presents a different kind of FPS power fantasy: making fat stacks as a pacifist rideshare driver
Because no-one entirely likes their job, I should be upfront about my issues with newly launched Early Access darling Wardogs , the mass-scale multiplayer shooter in which I’ve just found employment. Its "Play like to you used to" tagline and Halo 3-aping trailer smell a bit of reactionary, stuck-in-the-past thinking. It’s a mass-scale multiplayer shooter, so individual heroics rarely influence match outcomes. And, like pretty much everyone else who sucked down both those problems and tried playing on launch night regardless, I spent far too long attempting to communicate with server architecture that clearly had the resilience of overmilked cornflakes .
