Rockstar says GTA 6 runs at 30 FPS, while it's reportedly unsure about a 60 FPS performance mode
We've had our extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6 - did you notice? - and one of the reactions I saw from readers during our live report was about frame-rate. In short, some people said it looked noticeably low. Perhaps that's to be expected given it was captured on a base PS5, but it does raise the bigger question of what frame-rate GTA 6 runs at on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, how that might change for the PS5 Pro , and whether it offers optional Performance and Quality modes for any of those platforms. Solve a mountain mystery via the medium of creepy cards in Hillthorn, which has an excellent demo
Attention, dusty creeps who want to play poker with the Wickerman! I found one, a videogame you might enjoy. That game is Hillthorn, a spooky investigative cardgame from Fool Moon and Finnegan Motors - the latter also known for beaming corpo thriller Inhuman Resources: A Literary Machination . Hillthorn is the story of a detective hired to investigate a disappearance at a secluded mountain community. One of the first things you do, after hassling a worryingly stained forest ranger for directions, is cross a line of salt on the trail. Seems like something a person familiar with the occult would avoid doing, but you are a Private Eye, armed with logic and cynicism. Besides, all of this is presented via the medium of cards. Who's afraid of cards? What are they going to do, give you a paper cut? Ouch! Oh, maybe don't bleed on the salt. Read more

The Witcher 3 Remastered Resolution And Frame Rate For Switch 2 Revealed
Mouse & gyro controls also confirmed. A new livestream from CD Projekt Red has revealed what players can expect in terms of performance for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Remastered on Switch 2. Resolution is going to target 1080p in docked mode and 720p in handheld . With frame rate, you're looking at between 30 - 40fps in handheld with VRR implemented. 30 - 40fps is also the target in docked mode , and those with 120hz compatible displays can expect to lean more towards 40fps.
