Antstream Confirmed As The Developer Behind James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough

Company is also working on Alien Breed's 35th collection. It's fair to say that the initial reveal of System 3's The James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough didn't go down quite as well as was perhaps expected. The initial confirmation was accompanied by some blatantly GenAI artwork , and the trailer which followed afterwards was even worse – it not only used the AI art, but set the imagery to a tune which also had the stink of Generative AI. Video: Here's What Nintendo's Revised Switch 2 Console Looks Like

Spoiler: It's really similar. You'll no doubt be aware by now that Nintendo was recently forced to update the Switch 2 hardware in Europe to comply with new rules around replacement batteries. Well, that new model is now available for purchase in multiple regions, and YouTube channel Nintendúo recently got its hands on one to showcase the differences. In short, there really aren't many to speak of, and at first glance you might not even be aware that anything has changed. But the devil, as they say, is in the details. Obscure, Bomb-Based PS1 Puzzler 'Suzuki Bakuhatsu' Gets Fan Translated

Fly me to the Boom. A delicious, delirious piece of PlayStation history has been awarded greater access. As spotted by BlueSky user @nightelectricity , the obscure, Japan-only PS1 release Suzuki Bakuhatsu receives a full English translation courtesy of the dothacktranslate team. Released on PlayStation back in 2000, and published by Square Enix, no less, Suzuki Bakuhatsu is a bizarre puzzler telling the tale of a young girl - the titular Suzuki-san - whose day is interrupted by endless explosive encounters. Combat and socially agonised teens impress in Persona 4 Revival, the RPG that series director Kazuhisa Wada feels a "duty" to make

Look, before you say it, I know. Persona 4 Golden is held up by some as one of the best and most important RPGs ever. After all, it was the series' Final Fantasy 7 moment, where many of the mechanical and thematic threads of the earlier games finally knitted together and became something greater than their parts. You step into the shoes of Yu Narukami, a Japanese transfer student freshly arrived in Inaba. There, you use your limited time to make friends, study for your exams, and dive into a metaphysical dimension to turn-based battle the literal manifestations of your friends and rivals' twisted perceptions of themselves. Its story and characters particularly celebrated for their honest and painful looks inward at the parts of ourselves best left unseen. I’m a fraud for not having played it yet, with that sin only compounded by having had it in my Steam family sharing library for years. I have no excuse. I’ll face the shame-filled shadow version of myself, eventually. Read more
