11388 Venetian Neighbourhood minifigures
11388 Venetian Neighbourhood includes a whopping 17 minifigures and while they are not the focus of the set, or a reason to consider buying it, they do enable you to 'bring stories to life' according to LEGO, if that's something you like to do with your sets. The model itself leaves a lot to be desired, as you will have discovered in my review , but that's not the case for the minifigures: they are both plentiful and pleasing. Review: 11388 Venetian Neighbourhood
11388 Venetian Neighbourhood is this year's 'mega set' that's being released in time for the holiday season. It's stylistically similar to last year's Ideas model 21359 Italian Riviera, but much larger. It's also the second retail set to contain a 3D-printed element, a 'functional' piano, the first being last year's Winter Village set . The model is billed as being for 'travel lovers' and is 'inspired by the canals and architecture of the legendary city'. However, I suspect that anyone who's actually been there would have had the same thoughts as me when I first saw it: 'I don't remember seeing a tower like that in Venice'... Review: 40889 Build, Paint and Play!
Build, Paint and Play! by Doomslizer was picked as the winner of LEGO Ideas' Build Your Hobby challenge in September 2025. One year later, the revised model is about to be released and I think it looks superb, taking a fresh approach to model kit assembly! Beyond a clever concept, 40889 Build, Paint and Play! includes a few elements of great interest to Classic Space fans. While the teal astronaut has appeared before, the light bluish grey helmet and air tanks are new, completing a minifigure began in 2017, so I expect this to be a popular gift-with-purchase. LEGO November 2026 Shopping Guide
November is creeping in slowly and here’s a quick guide of what LEGO sets we can expect to be released at the beginning of the month. It’ll be a fairly small month for actual releases but the highly anticipated LEGO Dragon Ball set will surely be a popular one. Also the Sagrada Familia (21065) will become the largest set that LEGO will have released in terms of pieces, coming in at 12,060. As for promotions and gift with purchase sets, one is confirmed with the 322-piece Venetian Water Taxi (40898) when you purchase the Venetian Neighbourhood (11388) . We also have the LEGO Ideas Build, Paint and Play! (40889) which starts on October 28 but no end date was mentioned. We can assume that it’ll run for at least a week so it’s possible that we could see it run into November, if it lasts that long. Later on into the month, LEGO will have their LEGO Insiders Weekend 2026 on November 21-22 with sales and deals going on that weekend. A week after, we have Black Friday 2026 and Cyber Monday 2026 with their own promotions. We should get more details about these promos as we get closer to the events. Architecture • Sagrada Familia (21065) – $799.99 Botanicals • Cozy Plants (10371) – $22.99 Icons • Venetian Neighbourhood (11388) – $549.99 • Dragon Ball: Shenron & Goku (11390) – $179.99 The post LEGO November 2026 Shopping Guide appeared first on The Brick Fan .

Review: 30762 Retro Video Game Batman
Batman has worn countless unique suits across his many appearances and despite the range of Batman minifigures available, lots of memorable bat-suits have not appeared in LEGO form. I am amazed the design from Sunsoft's Batman: The Video Game was deemed a priority. 30762 Retro Video Game Batman is definitely a departure from other versions of this character, however, given the vibrant lavender and purple colours. If nothing else, this is an interesting minifigure and one worthy of a closer look. Continue reading » © 2026 Brickset.com . Republication prohibited without prior permission.

LEGO and Daft Punk has released a teaser for what could be the reveal of a new LEGO Daft Punk set. At the end of today’s WDPK Radio Live stream, they teased a room full of servers and pans towards a box that has confidential on it. After that, a red 2×4 brick outline comes up with the numbers 22.10 and 2007 which could mean there’s probably either more teasers or the reveal of the set. If you didn’t know, there have been many Daft Punk related projects on LEGO Ideas and one of them called Daft Punk Concert by RobotRock has been in the LEGO Ideas Parking Lot since October 2025 from the First 2025 Review Stage. It looks like it may be time for it to leave the Parking Lot very soon. The post LEGO Daft Punk Teaser Released – Set Reveal Soon? appeared first on The Brick Fan .
