LEGO 40912 Sea Serpent gift-with-purchase revealed!
We saw a flurry of nostalgic sets released in 2022 and shortly afterwards, though fewer in the past couple of years, unfortunately. 40912 Sea Serpent is a welcome addition though, as the winner of the 'A Twist of Nostalgia' Ideas competition, based on 6057 Sea Serpent from 1992. Review: 42700 Candy & Cupcake Ferris Wheel
Friends has done a few amusement park subthemes, each with their own twist. This year was definitely more girl-skewed than the others. 42703 Mermaid Roller Coaster Ride was fun but leaned heavily on purple tones, 42702 Spinning Flower and Fairy Teacup Ride looked like it could be part of the botanical collection, and finally, we'll look at 42700 Candy & Cupcake Ferris Wheel, which is very pink. It's the first of the month, which can only mean one thing: there are new sets available at LEGO.com! Actually, it's a fairly quiet month in terms of releases compared to June's onslaught, but there are some highly desirable sets among the five that are launched today: 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine ($230 / £190 / €210) 75459 Imperial Lambda-class Shuttle ($130 / £140 /€150) 76356 Venom Bust ($50 / £45 / €50) 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar ($450 / £400 / €450) 42240 Aston Martin Aramco AMR25 F1 Car ($230 / £199 / €230) The pinball machine is a great functional model which I praised in my review , and the Swedish sports car is pretty awesome, too. I'm about 70% through building it, which has been a struggle during the western European heatwave. That's why I have not posted a review yet! LEGO July 2026 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop
The first half of 2026 is now gone and we’re already at July where there will are some new LEGO sets now available on the LEGO Shop . LEGO Star Wars 75455 Boba Fett revealed!
75455 Boba Fett has been announced as the latest of several large-scale Star Wars characters released lately and perhaps one of the most impressive. This set will be available from August 1st, containing 1544 pieces and costing £149.99, $169.99 or €169.99. Similar to most figures of this size, the legs are static and attached to the base, but you can adjust the arms and head for different poses. In addition, the set comes with the Boba Fett minifigure that was conspicuously absent from 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit and 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge, based on his appearance in Return of the Jedi. Display frames provide a means of showcasing your favourite models on the wall, and are particularly useful when you've run out of horizontal surfaces to put them on. LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops (77985) Review
Last year, LEGO released the LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex (76968) and they are back again this year with another fossil set, the Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops (77985) . This new set has 1,154 pieces and retails for $109.99 is is currently available on the LEGO Shop. Minifigure There is one exclusive minifigure in the set which is Dr. Gerry Harding. He was in the first Jurassic Park movie tending to the sick triceratops during the tour. He wears a short sleeved shirt with some blue pants. The pants are somewhat inaccurate as he has more light brown pants in the movie. The head shows him with some sunglasses and a mustache. His accessories include a flashlight and a medkit. Build Although they’re connected together, the build consists of the base and the triceratops fossil. The base is a little rocky area with some plants scattered around. Hidden inside one of the plants is a printed mosquito in amber 1×1 brick. This is a reference to the mosquito that the Jurassic Park engineers used to extra DNA from. There are some Technic beams that connect to the fossil which we’ll get to later. There’s also an information plaque that gives some information about the triceratops. Next to that is a spot for the Gerry Harding minifigure. Next to where Dr. Harding stands is a little plant which represents the West Indian Lilac which made the triceratops sick.
