The LEGO Parts Guide: understand how LEGO really works
Tom Alphin's LEGO Parts Guide at his Brick Architect website has become a indispensable resource for those wanting to learn more about LEGO parts and especially for those who want to categorise, sort, and store their own collection of pieces. A book based on the work he's done there, The LEGO Parts Guide, will be published next week. Tom says it began as a simple catalogue of LEGO parts, but grew into something much more powerful: providing readers a deeper understanding of how LEGO really works. Review: 42694 Pizza Truck
PIzza is a staple of most teenagers' diets, and considering that's the demographic for Friends, I was surprised to see that there have been only four pizzerias in the Heartlake world. The latest pizza vendor is 42694 Pizza Truck. I was happy to see that this was a lower-priced set, but also happy to see Olly again, since he hasn't made many appearances in the sets this year. The 18th Annual Creations for Charity event begins today
This year's Creations for Charity event has just begun. Organiser Nannan writes: "From October 15 through November 30, you can purchase a custom LEGO creation and help raise money to donate LEGO sets to underprivileged children around the world! "We’re also accepting MOC donations from builders of all skill levels throughout the fundraiser. Simply fill out a donation form on our website at creationsforcharity.org , and we’ll list your creation in the store. Once it sells, we’ll notify you with shipping instructions. Shipping and parts costs are reimbursable. "Check back often, as new creations are added regularly! Keep in mind that nearly every creation in our store is one of a kind, so once it sells, it’s gone for good. "As always, we look forward to welcoming new and returning builders and fans as we continue the LEGO community’s longstanding tradition of giving back during the holiday season!" My advice is to check out the models available ASAP because, as you'd expect, the most desirable ones sell first! Continue reading » © 2026 Brickset.com . LEGO Star Wars Chopper (C1-10P) (75416) Amazon Deal – October 2026
Amazon has recently dropped the price of the LEGO Star Wars Chopper (C1-10P) (75416) by 30% which is the lowest it has been at. The set is now priced at $69.99 and that is a $30 savings on the droid. The set isn’t one that will be retiring any time soon but a 30% savings on it is not too shabby. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Displaying the restaurant collection
The Restaurants of the World collection of gifts with purchase are, in my opinion, one of the highlights of this year's releases, which deserve to be displayed properly and prominently. I didn't want to just plonk them on a shelf next to each other, so I built a stretch of pavement on which to place them. Continue reading » © 2026 Brickset.com .
