Bricks & Minifigs Reach Settlement with Mansell Family
Bricks & Minifigs has officially settled their dispute with the Mansell family over the LEGO Star Wars collection that went missing. If you remember, this started a whole saga with Reckless Ben helping Bryan Mansell and that opened up a whole nother can of worms for BAM and American Fork Police Department. In a joint statement released last night, the Mansells confirmed they have been compensated for the losses associated with the cosignment and have released legal claims against Bricks & Minifigs, Baker Salem, Josh Johnson, Brandon Best, or any current Bricks & Minifigs franchisee. In return the McNeffs, Baker Salem, Josh Johnson and Brandon Best likewise will dismiss their lawsuit against Bryan Mansell. Bryan Mansell has also transferred his consignment rights to BAM and BAM could pursue the claims aginst the former store owners. Review: 11385 Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge
Star Trek celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2026 and 11385 Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge seems like a superb concept to mark the occasion. The command bridge aboard the NCC-1701 is a classic location and one that should be perfect for a LEGO diorama. Indeed, I mentioned the possibility when speculating about LEGO Star Trek in 2024, but I am slightly surprised by its execution, extending beyond the bridge and into the transporter room. A few days before the LEGO Restaurants of the World: Greece (40908) is supposed to end, it has officially sold out on the LEGO Shop. Even though it’s still listed under the Offers & Sales page, it doesn’t add to cart even though you have enough product in the cart to qualify fo it. LEGO Collectible Minifigures Shrek Series (71053) Review
This September, LEGO will be releasing another Collectible Minifigures series and this wave will focus entirely on the Shrek Series (71053) . This set is part of the new LEGO Shrek sets that LEGO has released this year. Thelonious Thelonious is a bland minifigure with the black and gray executioner outfit. The belt printing does have the F for Faarquaad. The head itself is all black and the mask is pretty much the face. His accessories are the microphone and a printed Aawww cue card. Puss in Boots This is the second Puss in Boots minifigure as there is also another one in the Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots (72423) set however they are both different. He has the orange body with the belt around the waist and short legs with the boots printed on. The hat is molded on to its head and has a yellow feather. His accessories include a sack and one of the Blind Mice. Gingy Gingy has the nougat body color like with many other gingerbread minifigures in the past and there’s some purple gumdrops for his buttons and white frosting on the torso and legs. His accessory is his lollipop weapon. Shrek Shrek has on his tan burlap shirt with a skirt piece to represent the extra hanging under the belt. The pants are brown and are patterned. New LEGO Monkie Kid Series Airing on YouTube
We haven’t talked about LEGO Monkie Kid in over a year and a half since the 2025 sets were released. After that there was literally no news on the theme and everybody pretty much thought it was discontinued. That is until a few hours ago when LEGO uploaded a new episode of LEGO Monkie Kid on YouTube. This new series tells the story after the Demon Bull King’s defeat while Monkie Kid still learning to control his powers.
