Directed by Caroline Catz and produced by Andy Starke, the film is based on Fanni Tutti's 2017 memoir, which was also titled Art Sex Music. As Deadline reports, it will trace her upbringing in Hull, early work with COUM Transmissions and Throbbing Gristle, and her later solo material and collaborations with partner Chris Carter. London’s ICA to Host TG50 Event in Honour of Throbbing Gristle
The October event will feature film screenings, talks and music London's ICA is hosting an event in honour of the 50th anniversary of Throbbing Gristle's Prostitution exhibition at the venue. Scheduled for 18 October, TG50 will take place exactly five decades on from the group's controversial live performance at ICA, which led to tabloid furore and Conservative MP Nicholas Fairbairn standing up in Parliament to declare them "wreckers of civilisation". It will feature film screenings, talks and music. Part of the day will be free to attend, while separate paid tickets are available for the screenings and talk.
