MAXI takes in elongated versions of tracks like 'Moskow Diskow' and 'Rock Around The Clock' Photo by Xavier Lambours Mute is releasing an album of extended versions of songs by Telex. MAXI features 13 elongated takes on classic songs by the band, such as 'Moskow Diskow', 'Rock Around The Clock', 'Euro-vision' and 'Twist À Saint-Tropez'. The new record was put together after the band's surviving members – Dan Lacksman and Michel Moers – revisited the original tapes to create new versions of some of their best-known work. The release comes after Telex called time on the project in 2008, following the death of one-third of the trio, Marc Moulin.
