JK Flesh, Ana Roxanne and Theo Parrish are among those playing the Salford venue before it closes in January The White Hotel has revealed its final autumn programme of events ahead of the venue's closure in January. The much-loved Salford space, which confirmed its plan to close earlier this year, will host live shows from the likes of JK Flesh, Ana Roxanne, Horse Lords, BIG|BRAVE, Carla dal Forno and Nathan Fake in the coming months. There will also be all-night-long DJ sets from Theo Parrish, Kode9 and Call Super, in addition to label nights from SVBKVLT and The Trilogy Tapes. Arts Council England Announces Music Creators Growth Fund to Support Creative Plans of Established Artists
Grants of £10,000 to £20,000 will be given to music creators to develop their careers and fulfil ambitious creative plans Photo by Luis Kramer Arts Council England (ACE) has announced the introduction of the Music Creators Growth Fund, which it says will focus on supporting established artists to cultivate their careers. Forming part of the £45 million Music Growth Package that ACE announced in July, the fund has been established via money provided by the UK Government, The National Lottery and ACE. Grants of £10,000 to £20,000 will be allocated to established music creators – including artists, artist collectives, bands, composers, DJs, groups, producers and songwriters – who can demonstrate a strong track record over at least three years.
