Kali Malone Details New Album, ‘Burning Song’

It will be released through Ideologic Organ next month Kali Malone has shared details of a new album, titled Burning Song. Marking her first LP of solo compositions since 2024's All Life Long, the new LP takes in seven tracks. It was recorded at the historic Thomaskirche in Leipzig, Germany, where Malone became the first musician to perform contemporary works on the church’s Bach organ. Lucy Railton provides cello accompaniment on Burning Song, while Stephen O'Malley also plays bowed acoustic guitar across the album. Recording took place over the course of two late nights in August 2025, with the engineer Francesco Donadello placing over 20 microphones around the room.
