Posthumous Jon Hassell Album to be Released

Music Is Invisible (Pentimento Volume Three) marks the late artist's first LP of new material since 2021 A posthumous Jon Hassell album is due to be released this October. Spanning four extended cuts, Music Is Invisible (Pentimento Volume Three) is the final instalment in Hassell's Pentimento trilogy of records, following 2018's Listening To Pictures and 2020's Seeing Through Sound. It also marks the first release of new, unheard music by Hassell since he died in 2021. The new LP captures the Fourth World pioneer's final live performance at St. John at Hackney church in London in 2015, where he played alongside Rick Cox and John von Seggern. James Ford Documentary about entire Album made on Cancer Ward

The Depeche Mode & Arctic Monkeys producer explains what it's like to make a new record in its entirety while undergoing treatment that only has a 30% survival rate. Announcing the new initiative in a blogpost, Spotify said: "True artist-fan connection can only be built on a foundation of trust and authenticity.
