LEGO Announces FUTURA Partnership for Ninjago 15th Anniversary
LEGO has announced a new creative partnership with artist FUTURA to celebrate the 15th anniversary of LEGO Ninjago. FUTURA has been named the new creative collaboration and artistic co-creator for the band. To celebrate the partnership, LEGO and FUTURA has revealed the Ninja of the Futura and two other custom designed minifigure artworks and exclusive giveaway merchandise at an event at the Brooklyn Museum. BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 Final Details Announced
LEGO and BrickLink have revealed the final models and details of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 sets that will be available for pre-order in October. Like with previous series, there will be a limited run on the sets and production will be dynamically based on demand. Each set can have up to 30,000 produced but if demand is lower for one, they can move extra production to other models. Review: 40868 Up-Scaled Red Minifigure
In the early generations of Pokémon games, Red is the player’s character: a silent protagonist, and counterpart to Ash Ketchum in the original anime series. His legacy continues across the franchise, from appearing in other titles as a boss to challenge, being referenced through Easter Eggs, to starring in the four-part miniseries Pokémon Origins . This October, for the first time, Red will be realised as a minifigure in 72154 Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball. Over the five years of LEGO’s up-scaled minifigures products, just two of the ten sets featured licenced characters. The line may have started with one of these sets, but arguably still depicted well-established minifigures. As a character, Red is well known across the world of Pokémon, but as a LEGO minifigure? New The Legend of Zelda set revealed!
During today's Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, Nintendo teased the next LEGO Legend of Zelda set. The statuette features a brick-built Link sitting upon his noble steed, Epona. This pair stars in the Nintendo 64 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is getting a full remake for the Switch 2 this year. LEGO One Piece Gum-Gum Fruit (75647) Review
Next up on our reviews of the LEGO One Piece sets, we take a look at the Gum-Gum Fruit (75647) . It has 482 pieces and retails for $69.99. Minifigures There are two minifigures in the set, young Monkey D. Luffy and older Luffy. Young Luffy is seen wearing his white anchor shirt with his double-sided head showing an angry expression on one side and him chewing the Gum-Gum Fruit on the other side. His accessory is a small brick-built Gum-Gum Fruit. Older Luffy is in his usual outfit that we see in a majority of the show. He has a red vest and dual-printed blue shorts. His arms are the long stretched ones which can’t be removed. His double-sided head shows him with a determined look on one side and a happy smile on the other. His hair is molded on to the straw hat. Build The build features a larger scale Gum-Gum Fruit which are made up a lot of the new purple petal pieces with spirals along with dishes and sloped bricks. At the top of the fruit is the stem. The top of the fruit can pop off to reveal a small part of Partys Bar in Windmill Village. This is the scene where young Luffy finds the Gum-Gum Fruit and eats it. It doesn’t show that much but One Piece fans will know exactly what this scene shows. Lastly we have the display stand for the Devil Fruit. Review: 42701 Koala Habitat & Care Centre
Wildlife rescue is a common theme in Friends, especially when the animals are cute (actually, I don't remember a Friends rescue when the animals weren't cute!). Last year's example was 42648 Panda Sanctuary. While we met axolotls earlier this year, it looks like that was more pet procurement for Liann than a rescue. Friends has returned to the sanctuary theme with 42701 Koala Habitat & Care Centre. This set hits both a wildlife rescue theme and includes koalas, which are very cute animals. More LEGO Walmart Bricktember Deals – September 2026
Continuing with the Walmart Bricktember deals, there’s some more LEGO sets to highlight as they’re just too good of a deal to pass up if you’re a fan of them. One is the LEGO Editions FIFA World Cup Official Trophy (43020) . It is currently listed for $120 and that’s a savings of $80 or 40% off. The other good deal is the LEGO DREAMZzz Mr. Oz’s Spacebus (71460) that is listed for 50% off and that drops the price down to $50.35.
